Ivonne L. De Leon is the founder of the Law Office of Ivonne L. De Leon, PLLC. Born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, she immigrated to the United States with her family at the age of 12 and was raised in Laredo, Texas. Her personal experiences as an immigrant shaped her passion for advocacy and her commitment to helping individuals and families navigate complex legal systems with compassion and understanding.

As a child, Ivonne often served as a translator for her mother during doctor appointments, parent-teacher conferences, and everyday interactions. Those early experiences taught her the importance of having someone who understands your background, your struggles, and your voice. Witnessing the challenges her family faced — including language barriers, immigration obstacles, and family separation — inspired her desire to become an attorney and advocate for others facing similar hardships.

Ivonne earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in International Finance in 2005 and her Master’s degree in Business Administration in 2006 from Texas A&M International University. She later worked as a Mathematics teacher in both Laredo and San Antonio while continuing her education. In 2012, she earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of the Incarnate Word.

Before attending law school, Ivonne gained valuable legal experience working as a paralegal in immigration, personal injury, and family law. She later attended St. Mary’s University School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor degree in 2017. In 2019, she founded the Law Office of Ivonne L. De Leon, PLLC with the mission of helping clients find practical solutions during some of the most important moments of their lives.

Today, Ivonne proudly represents clients in immigration and personal injury matters and remains dedicated to advocating for individuals and families with compassion, integrity, and determination. She understands the emotional, financial, and legal hardships many clients face — whether navigating the immigration system or recovering after an accident caused by someone else’s negligence. Ivonne strives to provide every client with personalized representation, trusted guidance, and strong advocacy during life’s most difficult moments.

La abogada Ivonne L. De Leon es la fundadora de Law Office of Ivonne L. De Leon, PLLC. Nació en Nuevo Laredo, México, y emigró a los Estados Unidos con su familia a la edad de 12 años. Creció en Laredo, Texas, y sus experiencias personales como inmigrante moldearon su pasión por ayudar a otras personas y familias a navegar sistemas legales complejos con compasión y entendimiento.

Desde pequeña, Ivonne frecuentemente servía como traductora para su madre durante citas médicas, juntas escolares y situaciones cotidianas. Estas experiencias le enseñaron la importancia de contar con alguien que entienda tu historia, tus luchas y tu voz. Presenciar los desafíos que enfrentó su familia — incluyendo barreras del idioma, obstáculos migratorios y separación familiar — inspiró su deseo de convertirse en abogada y defensora de quienes atraviesan situaciones similares.

Ivonne obtuvo su Licenciatura en Administración de Empresas con concentración en Finanzas Internacionales en 2005 y su Maestría en Administración de Empresas en 2006 de Texas A&M International University. Posteriormente trabajó como maestra de Matemáticas en Laredo y San Antonio mientras continuaba su preparación académica. En 2012 obtuvo una Maestría en Educación de University of the Incarnate Word.

Antes de asistir a la escuela de Derecho, Ivonne adquirió experiencia legal trabajando como asistente legal en casos de inmigración, lesiones personales y derecho familiar. Más adelante asistió a St. Mary’s University School of Law, donde obtuvo su título de Juris Doctor en 2017. En 2019 fundó Law Office of Ivonne L. De Leon, PLLC con la misión de ayudar a sus clientes a encontrar soluciones prácticas durante algunos de los momentos más importantes de sus vidas.

Actualmente, Ivonne representa con orgullo a clientes en asuntos de inmigración y lesiones personales, y continúa comprometida con defender a individuos y familias con compasión, integridad y determinación.
